A 29 year old suspected serial killer, Lekan Raheem, a resident of Ojo area of Ibadan, Oyo State, Southwest, Nigeria has confessed that he and his nine man gang which comprises of two female and seven male specialises in kidnapping people, especially children, kill them and sell their body parts to ritualists.
The suspect made the alleged confession while being paraded after his arrest by the operatives of the Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS Oyo State Command, Ibadan.
Parading the suspect at the NIS Command before being handed over to the Police, the Public Relations Officer, PRO of Oyo State NIS, Olufemi Adetunji told newsmen that the suspect was arrested following a tip off by concerned citizens.
Adetunji said, “the suspect confessed that he and his nine member gang specialising in kidnaping people, especially children, kill them and sell their body parts to customers who use them for rituals.”
In his confession to newsmen at the NIS Command, Raheem said, “me and my nine member gang which include two male and seven male have killed many children in our operations, butchered them and sold their body parts to ritualists.”
“We have a Micra Car that we use for the operations and we normally buy enough biscuits inside the car to entice the children.”
“Anytime we come across little children walking along the road we would stop and entice them with biscuits and in a jiffy grab them and put them inside the car and zoom off to kill them.”
We would then butcher them and sell their body parts to ritualists but I am now appealing forgiveness because I never knew I was committing crime for killing children and selling their body parts as I taught I was doing business,” Raheem confessed to the NIS Operatives.
Adetunji said the NIS Oyo State Command have handed over the suspect to the Police to continue and conclude the investigations.
