The ubiquitous Operatives of the Inspector General of Police, IGP monitoring  Unit in Lagos  have  arrested a businessman and the proprietor of a popular night club in Lagos, Pascal Okechukwu alias Cubana Chief Priest.

Though details of the reasons behind his arrest were still sketchy as at press time, a statement released by the Police alleged that Okechukwu was arrested and detained at the Unit headed by the amiable and disciplined former PPRO, Lagos State Police Command, CSP Ngozi Beside over alleged money laundering and misuse of security details attached to him.

Report has it that the suspect turned the security details to domestic servants and Messengers, a development, according to the Police compelled the IGP  to order his investigation and more importantly for his source of income.

Police  explained that his reckless display  of wealth exposed him to investigation, adding that Okechukwu posted a picture on his Instagram page where he displayed piles of foreign currencies.
“As I speak with you, Okechukwu is in our cell. They use the Police recklessly on the social media and display bunches of foreign currencies and we  are clamping down on them,” the source stated.
